About Microwave Analytics

At Microwave Analytics, measurement integrity is our mission. We exist to deliver disciplined, traceable RF and microwave metrology for programs where data must be defensible, repeatable, and technically sound.

Founded on Measurement Discipline

Microwave Analytics was founded in 2026 as a division of Thurston Laboratories, an established testing organization founded in 1982 with a long history of quality assurance, materials evaluation, and environmental testing.

While Microwave Analytics operates as a focused RF and microwave laboratory, it inherits a culture rooted in disciplined measurement practices, documented procedures, and defensible results.

Built by Measurement Professionals

The laboratory was established by former military technical specialists and experimental physicists with expertise in precision instrumentation, advanced semiconductor behavior, and high-frequency measurement systems. Our team understands that instrumentation is not merely equipment - it is a responsibility. In operational environments, reliable measurements are foundational to safety, performance, and mission success. That same seriousness governs every test we perform.

Mission-critical context

Independent, Trustworthy Results

Microwave Analytics operates as an independent RF and microwave measurement laboratory. Our responsibility is to generate accurate, repeatable, and technically defensible data.

We specialize in characterization: identifying performance, quantifying emissions, evaluating stability, and documenting results with traceable standards. Our work provides clarity. Engineering design decisions remain with your team, supported by reliable measurement data.

Our Philosophy of Measurement

Every test begins with a clearly defined measurement objective. Instrumentation is verified. Reference standards are confirmed. Procedures are controlled. Results are repeatable.

We approach RF and microwave testing as a scientific discipline, not as an informal evaluation. Uncertainty is quantified. Context is documented. Measurements are performed deliberately and reported clearly. Microwave Analytics exists to provide confidence in data.

A Controlled Laboratory Environment

Located in rural northeastern Nevada, the laboratory benefits from a naturally low-interference RF environment. This setting reduces ambient signal contamination and supports sensitive conducted and radiated measurements.

All testing is performed onsite using controlled instrumentation, calibrated standards, and documented procedures.
